Zumba

Tuesdays, beginning Apr. 9, 6-7 p.m.

Cost: $8 or four punches on a punch card, per session

Ages 18 and up

We take the "work" out of workout with Zumba at Farragut Community Center! Zumba is a Latin inspired dance class that makes getting fit, fun!

Total Fitness Classes

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Cost: $4, or two punches on a punch card, per session.

Join Rachel Piotrowski, certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer, for a total body fitness class! This class is tailored to individuals of all fitness levels and focuses on functional exercises to improve overall strength and balance. A variety of body weight and hand weight exercises will be utilized to build upper and lower body strength, improve balance and strengthen the core. Low impact aerobic conditioning and stretching are also incorporated. Please bring hand weights or other weighted objects for your workout. If you do not have any, just bring yourself! Don’t forget water and a mat.

 

Sunrise Stretch

Wednesdays, 8:15-9:15 a.m.

Cost: Free

Start your day off right with a sunrise yoga session! This 60-minute class is the perfect way to start the day for beginning to advanced yogis with registered yoga teacher Jenny Trussell. The class includes gentle and slow flow yoga sequencing, breathwork, and a brief meditation set to relaxing music. Bring a mat (blanket and props are optional) and a smile for each participant. The instructor is glad to provide an introductory class for anyone new to yoga.

 

Rise and Shine Yoga

Mondays and Fridays, 8:15-9:15 a.m.

Cost: $4, or two punches on a punch card per session.

Rise and shine! Start your day off right with a morning yoga class led by registered yoga teacher Mindy Wise or Jenny Trussell! Bring a yoga mat, water and a positive attitude!

Moving into Stillness for Self-Care

Fridays, 9:30 a.m.-10 a.m.

Cost: $10/4-week session

The goal of this program is to provide a space for people to practice stillness for self care and stress reduction,
along with community connection. Each session will include a guided meditation or reading,
some silent time to reflect in stillness, and a time for optional sharing of experiences. Register here.

Knight's Long Hu Pai Kung Fu

Wednesday, 5-6 p.m., Sundays, 3-4 p.m.

Cost: $60/4 classes

Join us for this traditional Kung Fu class that will teach self-defense, form, and fitness! All skill levels welcome.
