the great turkey hunt 2023

You never know what you will discover in Farragut’s beautiful parks! For the week of November 13 – November 18, there will be special turkeys hiding in each of Farragut’s parks and plaza: Anchor Park, Mayor Bob Leonard Park, McFee Park, BlueCross Healthy Place at Town Hall, Founders Park at Campbell Station, and Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza.

If you find a turkey, take a picture with it, and show the picture to the staff at the front desk of Farragut Community Center (239 Jamestowne Blvd) to receive a small prize! If you take a picture with all six turkeys, you will be entered to win a fall gift basket from Farragut Parks and Recreation. But keep an eye out for an extra special bird sneaking around the parks – a blue and green Town of Farragut-themed turkey will be moving to a different park each day, and a picture with that turkey will automatically enter you in the gift basket drawing!

For clues about the turkeys’ whereabouts or for more information about the event, visit the Farragut Parks and Recreation social media pages. No registration is required for this event.
