family game night: kids vs. adults
Team up and see who the champion will be – kids or adults? From 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9 at Farragut Community Center, enjoy a variety of fun, active group games from silly Minute to Win it games, to relay races, and everything in between. At the end of the night, we will crown our first Family Game Night champion! The suggested age for participating children is 6 to 12. All children must be accompanied by at least one participating adult and vice versa.
Do I have to participate with my child?
We strongly encourage at least one parent, guardian, or adult to participate with each child. This will help keep teams as even as possible. Aunts, uncles, older siblings, grandparents or family friends can all act as the participating adult.
What if my child is over the recommended age limit of 12 years old?
The recommended age limit is in place to keep the event safe and fun. Teens ages 13-15 will be able to choose which team they want to play on, and teens 16+ will be asked to play on the adult team.
What if my child is under the recommended age limit of 6 years old?
The recommended age limit is in place to keep the event safe and fun. Due to the nature of the games, it is not recommended that children under the age of six participate.
Do we have to stay the entire time?
We encourage participating families to stay for the duration of the event, since the games are all part of the overall competition.
Registration is required, as space is limited. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Feb. 7. Register here.
