2023 Local Parks & Recreation Fund (LPRF) Grant Awarded

The Town of Farragut has been selected for a 2023 LPRF Grant!

 

The Town of Farragut applied for a State of Tennessee Local Parks and Recreation Fund Grant for a match of $1,365,000.

 The funded grant projects included in the award are located at McFee  and Mayor Bob Leonard Parks. The awarded sites include the following projects:

 

Mayor Bob Leonard Park

• Renovation of the sand volleyball complex 

• Renovations of Syn thetic Turf Fields 1 & 2

• Construction of ADA access to player benches on fields 1 & 2

• Construction of an ADA path from the west parking lot for Field #1

• Resurfacing and regrading of internal park walking paths to meet ADA guidelines

McFee Park

• Construction of a dog park

• Construction of an ADA compliant restroom
